The SHEA Water course is designed for anyone requiring access to operational sites within the water industry.
This EUSR SHEA Water training is a one-day course that is normally completed within 7 hours. Also, it is CSCS affiliated, and the certificate is valid for three years.

Remote Delivery
Our remote learning EUSR National Water Hygiene courses are delivered online through a virtual classroom via Microsoft Teams
To access the course, delegates must join the course using the link provided. However, they will need a computer or laptop with a screen, camera, microphone and access to the internet to attend this course online. Delegates should be computer literate and be familiar with using Microsoft Teams.
Delegates can interact with the attendees and trainer throughout via the microphone or chatbox. The course materials are all in digital format, as is the exam.

The EUSR National Water Hygiene course can be arranged at a venue by us or a venue of your choosing. The course is also available as an in-house Remote learning course.

What do the courses involve?
Trainer led courses with a multiple-choice test. Delegates may be called upon to share their experiences and thoughts throughout to build on the course material and to identify cases of good and bad practise.
What are the entry requirements for the course?
In order to attend the online course, you must have a good knowledge of written and spoken English and have access to a computer or laptop that uses a microphone and webcam.
You also need to be computer literate and familiar with using Microsoft Teams.
What is the duration of the courses?
The EUSR National Water Hygiene course is a half day course, for approximately 3 hours.
The SHEA Courses is a full day course, for approximately 6-7 hours.
What do I need with me on the day of a course?
For both an online and on-site course, delegates must have a copy of their photo ID (passport or driving licence) and may be asked for their National Insurance Number.
To attend an online course, delegates require access to the internet and must access their course via a laptop / desktop computer (or similar) with a working microphone and camera. We do not allow access to an online course using a mobile / smart phone. Delegates must have access to either Zoom or Teams (or can access the platform via the browser), whichever platform the course is being delivered on.
What is the maximum number of delegates on a course?
We can offer courses up to a maximum of twelve delegates.
What happens on completion of a course?
Once the training has been completed and the test has been passed, delegates will be issued with a cover letter and a virtual card SMS link will be sent to the delegates mobile phone (within 3 working days following the course). If a plastic card has been ordered on the booking, please allow 4-5 weeks for the plastic card(s) to be delivered.
I have completed a course, when will I be registered?
Registration is based on successful completion of the training course. Registrations are submitted within one working day and the virtual card SMS links are normally received within 2-3 working days.
Please note that the application of registrations for unpaid bookings will be put on hold and only submitted once full payment has been received. We can only hold these for a maximum of 2 weeks, after this time if payment still isn’t received, the delegate would need to be re-booked onto a new course date.
How long does a EUSR National Water Hygiene Training registration last?
National Water Hygiene & SHEA Courses registration is valid for three years.
Is this Training Accredited?
Yes, the SHEA courses are a CSCS Alliance scheme which gives water industry workers access to construction site for utilities work. It is also accredited by EUSR.
Do you offer the training on-site? Would you travel to our premises and deliver it in-house?
Yes, this is something we can look at, however we only deliver on-site training for 4+ delegates. For more details, click on the ‘On-Site Training’ tab at the top of this page.
Please note: your training location and room in mind must have
- A suitable room large enough to sit all delegates comfortably and ideally at a desk.
- A large TV screen or projector screen, if not a white clear wall is fine as we can bring our own projector.
- On-site parking if possible
